Right To Buy
The Right to buy scheme is a policy in the UK which gives tenants of council housing the right to buy the home they are living in. Currently there is also a right to acquire for the tenants of housing association.
After living in your council house for more then 4 years you can apply for the right to buy. There are three stages in to getting the right to buy and your council will help you through this.
Your property will be offered a certain discount dependant on how long you have been a council tenant and also where your property is.
Once you know how much discount you get, you can apply for a mortgage through us and we will do the rest. The discount will vary between 32% - 70%.
